To restrain friction against the ground surface at landing at a minimum by providing many wind cups of largely receiving air made of rubber or synthetic resin capable of being foldedly deformed on the tire side wall of the wheel or the wheel of an aircraft, particularly a large-sized aircraft.
A tire side wall of a wheel 6 is provided with wind cups 61 to be crescent wind receivers in which bowls are halved. As for the fixed position of the wind cup 61 to the side wall, the higher the efficiency is, the nearer the fixed position is to the circumference of the tire, but in response to the wind pressure at landing, similar effect is taken even in case of providing it on the wheel. When the fitted wind cup 61 is in the negative state against a wind, i.e., it receives the wind from the back face, it is stuck to the wheel so as not to obstruct receiving of a leg part, and while it does not receive the wind, it is energized on the side of sticking to the side wall. Further, in the negative state aganst the wind received from the front, it is always stuck to the tire, hence there is no fear that the wind cups 61 give trouble to a strut 51, so as to be unnecessary to spread the wheel struts 51 in particular.
