Abstract:
To supply grinding water to a surface to be ground and a grinding surface of a grinding wheel, although the grinding water is influenced by centrifugal force, and thereby reduce wear of the grinding wheel.SOLUTION: In a wheel mount 34, energy and drop positions of ejected grinding water can be changed by switching embedded plugs 61 and 63 to be arranged. Accordingly, the energy and drop positions of grinding water can be approximated to a proper range, by changing ejection sites in accordance with rotational speed of the wheel mount 34. Thus, a great amount of grinding water can be supplied between a surface 1a to be ground and a grinding wheel, so that cooling of the grinding wheel and removal of grinding chips can be implemented in a satisfactory manner. As a result thereof, wear of the grinding wheel is reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
