The wheelchair fixing device 1 includes an adjustment member 11 imparting tension to a wire 2 such that a drum 3 can rotate so as to properly mesh with a tooth row part of a missing tooth gear when a drum turning gear 4 transfers to the state that the meshing with the tooth row part 6a of the missing tooth gear is started from the state the meshing with the missing tooth gear is released by the missing tooth part 6b of the missing tooth gear 6.
