To provide a wheelchair used as a vehicle in moving a disabled user, capable of eliminating such inconvenience that the body of the user must be turned around to get on/off the wheelchair.

The wheelchair has grooves in main shafts 5 in the rear of a wheelchair body and in a seat part, so that a backrest and the seat can be detached. The user gets on the wheelchair from the rear by detaching the backrest and the seat. When the user gets off the wheelchair, the rear part of the wheelchair is brought close to a place such as a bed the user wants to sit on, so that the user can sit on the place by detaching the backrest and the seat. In this way, the user can get on/off the wheelchair without turning the body around. Further, the user can go to the bathroom by using the wheelchair, going over a toilet seat, detaching the seat of the wheelchair, and finishing a wash without getting off the wheelchair.
