PURPOSE: To move a wheelchair by adjusting the position of a seat box corresponding to the difference of the physically handicapped and pulling a handle bar while utilizing the fact that a pulling function is inferior to a pushing function as the kinetic function of the physically handicapped.

CONSTITUTION: Concerning the wheelchair composed of two main wheels 3 and one or plural casters, a gear box 2 equipped with a driving mechanism is disposed between the main wheels 3 and a car body 1 or at the lower part of the car body 1, a seat box 6 is mounted forward rather than wheel shafts 5 of the main wheels 3 as much as possible so as to be freely slid and detached, and a forward/backward driving lever 7 or the handle bar arranging a brake bar 9 at a clamp part 8 is attached successively while being interlocked with the gear box 2. On the other hand, the side walls of the seat box 6 and the car body 1 are separated almost for 10cm, and a change lever 10 for turning the driving mechanism backward is attached successively to the driving mechanism.
