Abstract:
PURPOSE: To eliminate a disadvantage such that whirling water is splashed outside a bath tub when the whirling water is discharged from the uppermost whirling nozzle, by detecting without fail whether a water level in the bath tub is below the uppermost whirling nozzle.
CONSTITUTION: During a jet operation, a hydraulic pressure of water in a circulating water pipe 8 is changed by using a circulating pump 10. Separately from the circulating pump 10, a water pipe 30 is provided for detecting a water level, in which a hydraulic pressure is not changed. The water pipe 30 for detecting a water level is provided with a water-level switch 34. When a controller 18 detects that the uppermost whirling nozzle 6A is exposed above the water level based on the detection output of the water-level switch 34, an electromagnetic vent 36 positioned in a pipe 8A branching from the circulating pipe 8 which is communicated to the uppermost whirling nozzle 6A, is closed. Thus, the whirling of water from the uppermost whirling nozzle 6A is stopped.
