PURPOSE: To prevent deterioration of whiteness even when a peeled coating resin attaches to an electrostatic latent image together with a white toner by using a carrier coated with a resin containing a white pigment.
CONSTITUTION: This developer is made of a mixture of the white toner for developing the electrostatic latent image to white, and the carrier coated on the surface with the coating resin containing the white pigment. The white toner can be prepared by mixing and kneading a styrene-acrylic type resin, titanium oxide, a quaternary ammonium salt, and the like, pulverizing and classifying them, and adding a hydrophobic silica powder, and the carrier can be prepared by coating the surfaces of ferrite particles with a solution of a fluororesin containing titanium oxide.
