Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a void-containing polyester film with which crease during handling of a reflection film and crease during peeling of a tape are reduced, and which maintains high reflection characteristics.SOLUTION: A white polyester film has a film constitution of A-layer/B-layer or A-layer/B-layer/A-layer, and satisfies requirements mentioned below, wherein the B-layer has voids. (1) The B-layer contains a resin incompatible with polyester, inorganic particles, and air bubbles; (2) the content of the resin incompatible with polyester is 3-10 mass%; (3) the content of the inorganic particles is 10-30 mass%; (4) the specific gravity GA of the A-layer and the specific gravity GA of the B-layer satisfy following formula: 0≤|GA-GB|≤0.5; (5) the rigidity of the white polyester film is less than 1.0 mN; (6) the total thickness of the white polyester film is less than 150 μm; and (7) when a folding test using a core rod having a diameter of 6 mm is performed in such a state that the A-layer is set to be inside, in a bending test according to JISK-5600-5-1, the formation of crease in the A-layer is not found.
