Abstract:
To provide a white stick with an area sensing device which secures the safety walk of a person to be aided by avoiding a contact between the person to be aided and an obstacle.
This white stick 10 with the area sensing device is provided with a sensor 25 detecting an obstacle, an obstacle warning device 17 emitting warning by the sensor 25 detecting the obstacle, and a power supply 16 supplying an electric power to the sensor 25 and the obstacle warning device 17. The sensor 25 comprises at least one of a linear and flat non-contact sensor.
