Abstract:
To provide a wick of a kerosene stove related to a combustion wick used in a wick up-and-down tank type kerosene stove, the wick of the kerosene stove that prevents fabric deformation in vertical motion of a wick tuft, i.e., a kerosene suction part of a lower half part of the wick in the ignition, combustion and fire extinction, in which a shape of a vertical slot part formed in the suction part of the wick is changed from a vertical slot shape to a slant slot shape, whole suction part is stored in a state of orderly falling down in a certain direction along a wick guide tube in the fire extinction including urgent fire extinction, rolling-up of the wick fabric of the suction part in the re-ignition and occurrence of a lantern shape are prevented, and thereby stable sustained combustion and combustion time extension are made possible.SOLUTION: A wick of a kerosene stove is characterized in that all of a shape of multiple vertical slot parts formed in the suction part of the wick 13 is slanted by the same angle in a certain direction from a vertical direction. The wick of the kerosene stove is characterized in that the slant angle of the vertical slot part 1 is made 40-80 degrees in a rising angle when viewed from the horizontal direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
