Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller which concentrically and generally controls the operation of a large number of electrical machinery and apparatus in each local area at a central monitor center, so that a demand in each local area may not exceed a specified contract demand.
SOLUTION: Each local area (A-D) is provided with a communication circuit (5) which detects the conditions of use of electrical machinery and apparatus in the area, transmits these through a long-distance communication line (11) to an overall arithmetic and logic unit (14) provided in the monitor center (12), and receives a control signal data based on an operation result by the overall arithmetic and logic unit sent through the long-distance communication line; and a control signal outputting circuit (6) which controls the operation of each electrical machinery and apparatus in the local area on the basis of the operation result data.
