Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformize a velocity of air and a flow rate through the whole of a wide supply opening, to generate air-conditioned air with a low flowing noise, to reduce a deep installation space in an instrument panel, and to prevent impedance of arrangement of an air back.
SOLUTION: A wide supply opening device for a vehicle is formed such that a wide supply opening device 21 is arranged between an air bag mechanism 13 for a passenger seat arranged along the internal part on the depth side of the top plate 12 of an instrument panel 11 and an opening part 17 formed in the front plate 14 of an instrument panel. The supply opening device consists mainly of an output collecting pipe to which a supply opening 59 connected to the opening part is attached, and a guide air member, which has the output port 40 and the inlet port 44 of an output collecting pipe part attached to a supply port device 59 connected to an opening part and an input collecting pipe part formed in a hierarchical state, and interconnects the output port and the input port through a guide air joint member 50. The input collecting pipe part is expanded from the input port 39 toward the guide air joint member, and the output collecting pipe part is expanded from the guide air joint member toward the supply opening.
