Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for suppressing increase of weight to the minimum extent while maintaining required strength, providing excellent construction property, and shortening construction term when expanding width of a road bridge constituted by concrete floor slabs.
SOLUTION: A steel-made hollow cylindrical body 2 composed of a substantially box-like body among width expansion members 1 for road is constituted by welding each face part of a front face part 3, an upper face part 4, a rear face part 5, and a bottom face part 6. An extension part 7 and the bottom face part 6 are integrally formed. A substantially rectangular web 8 suspended and fixed in a series in the direction of length of the steel-made hollow cylindrical body 2 is provided at substantially center of an integrally formed member of the extension part 7 and the bottom face part 6. Reinforcing ribs 9 of the web 8 whose circumference is formed by substantially unequalsided quadrangle are provided in a row at a predetermined equal interval in the direction of right angle toward a rear face for the web 8. 8a indicates a bolt hole. Reinforcing ribs 10 are provided in a row at a predetermined equal interval inside the steel-made hollow cylindrical body 2. One end 10a of the reinforcing rib 10 protrudes on the extension part 7 from an opening part 3a and functions as a reinforcing rib of the extension part 7. A substantially elliptical work hole 6a having a long diameter is provided at substantially center of a face surrounded by the reinforcing rib 10 in the bottom face part 6 except a face having a support plate 11.
