To provide a wig affording comfortable wear feeling such as refreshing or refreshing cool feeling, preventing bacterial breeding and presenting natural appearance, and to provide a method for producing the wig.
The wig has the following construction: A wig base 13 is constituted of a 1st base member 11 disposed inside in contact with the head and a 2nd base member 12 disposed outside of the 1st base member, wherein the 1st base member 11 comprises synthetic fibers 15 coated with a hydrophilic material and an antibacterial agent 16 and resin thin film 18 on the synthetic fibers 15. Furthermore, the 1st base member 11 may be coated with fragrant-containing microcapsules 17. Owing to the resin thin film 18 on the synthetic fibers 15, the hydrophilic material, the antibacterial agent 16 and the microcapsules 17 can be held on the synthetic fibers 15 and the shape of the wig base 13 can be retained, affording moisture-absorbing/releasing effects and antibacterial effects as well.
