To provide a simply formed and inexpensive wind power generating device for relatively small-scale power generations such as illumination use in street lamps and advertising towers and power supply use to motors by solving problems in widely used conventional wind power generating devices wherein since the devices are of a system directly rotating a large propeller by wind force, it cannot effectively generate power unless the scale of the device is large to some degree and wind force is strong.

In this wind power generating device, guide plates 3 are fixedly vertically and radially installed circumferentially on a disk 2, and a wind receiving drum 1 with a space 4 is installed at the center thereof. A drum type windmill 5 formed by fixedly forming rotating vanes 7 radially around the periphery of a rotating shaft 6 is inserted into the space 4 of the wind receiving drum 1 and pivotally supported by bearings 7, and the rotation of the rotating shaft 6 is transmitted to the rotating shaft 9 of the power generating device 10.
