PURPOSE: To promote the speed-up and abatement of fuel consumption of a container ship by installing a streamlined wind pressure reducing body detachably in the front of a container on a deck over a range from the deck to a container upper end.

CONSTITUTION: A streamlined wind pressure reducing body 4 leading to the upper end of a container 3 from a deck 2 is installed in front of this container 3 loaded on the deck 2 free of detachment. This wind pressure reducing body 4 consists of a diagonal member 5, a cross beam member 6, a reinforcing material 7 and canvas 8. With this constitution, wind pressure during navigation is reduced and thereby the speed-up and abatement of fuel consumption are well promoted.
