PURPOSE: To automatically wrap continuous lengths round a wind-up shaft by providing a pressing body energized so as to always contact with the wind-up shaft and a mechanism for guiding the tip part of the continuous lengths sent by a continuous length holding and transferring mechanism.

CONSTITUTION: A continuous lengths holding a transferring mechanism 19 that holds continuous lengths B such as journal paper supplied from a continuous lengths supporting part 17 and a pressing body 29 energized so as to always contact with the wind-up shaft 28 are provided. Moreover, a continuous lengths guiding mechanism 31 guiding so as to wrap the tip part of the continuous lengths B transferred from the continuous lengths holding and transferring mechanism 19 round the wind-up shaft 28 is provided. Hereby, the continuous lengths such as journal paper can be easily and surely set.
