To provide a windbreak heat insulation woven fabric having scarcely releasable windbreak layer (coating layer) from a gigged woven fabric at the coating layer, excellent windbreak properties and excellent heat insulation by coating the gigged woven fabric with a synthetic resin film to eliminate a sense of cold as a substantial sense through a wind though having original heat insulation and shutting off passage of the wind.

As yarns for constituting a front side layer 11 of a double cloth woven fabric 13, fluffing yarns are used, and yarns for constituting a rear side layer 12, synthetic fiber yarns or synthetic fiber composite yarns are used. A synthetic resin windbreak layer 14 is laminated on the rear side surface of the fabric 13. Releasing characteristics of the layer 14 from the fabric 13 are not recognized for releasing by a wear resistant test (taper form method) according to JIS L 1096. Since the front surface of the layer 12 is flat, the layer 14 is scarcely released.
