The winding apparatus for winding the wire material around the winding core to form a coil includes a winding core fitting member detachably fixing the winding core, a rotating means for rotating the winding core fitting member around the winding core, an oscillating means for oscillating the winding core member in the direction orthogonal to the axial direction of the winding core, and a wire material supplying means for supplying the wire material to the winding core. The oscillating means adjusts the angle of the winding surface of the winding core relative to the tension direction of the wire material.
