Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a core from being firmly pressed by a chuck on each side and deflected by winding the strip-shaped sheet of various width from a narrow sheet to a wide sheet with excellent quality at high speed, to simplify the structure, and to improve the load resistance.
SOLUTION: A pair of chucks 8, 9 are provided with collars 8b, 9b on the rear side of body parts 8a, 9a to be inserted in a core C, and mounted on a pair of winding arms 5, 6 moving along a guide surface. A pair of winding arms 5, 6 are provided with a pair of spindles 17, 18 opposite to each other, inner rings 19a, 20a of a roller bearing to support the spindles 17, 18 are fixed to the spindles 17, 18, outer rings 19b, 20b of the roller bearing to support one spindle 18 are held slidably in the axial direction of the spindles, the outer ring 20b is energized toward the core C by a spring 32, and the outer ring 19b of the roller bearing to support the other spindle 17 is held in an immobile manner in the axial direction of the spindle. A pair of chucks 8, 9 are individually fixed to a tip part of a pair of spindles 17, 18.
