In the winding core formed of a reinforced fiber laminate, the reinforced laminate includes a diagonally-oriented layer in which the carbon fiber is oriented at the angle of +70° to +90°, and/or -70° to -90° with respect to the longitudinally axial direction of the core, and/or a straight layer in which the carbon fiber is oriented at the angle of 0° to +20° and/or 0° to -20° with respect to the longitudinally axial direction of the core, and satisfies at least one of the conditions that the volumetric content Vf of the carbon fiber is 50 to 80%, that the thickness of the continuous layers having the same angle of orientation is 0.05 to 0.4 mm, and that the matrix resin of the reinforced fiber laminate contains particles.
