Abstract:
To reduce unnecessary movements related to a winding device.SOLUTION: A winding device 50 includes: a winding bar 51 that extends in a width direction Y and winds a medium 5; a drive source 52 that rotates the winding bar 51; a rotation shaft 66 that extends in the width direction Y; a support arm 62 that is connected to the rotation shaft 66; a tension bar 61 that extends in the width direction Y, is supported by the support arm 62, can swing freely around the rotation shaft 66, and can apply tension to the medium 5 moving toward the winding bar 51; a first sensor 71 that detects that the tension bar 61 is disposed at an unused position P1 where the tension bar 61 does not apply tension to the medium 5; and a control device 80. The control device 80 includes: a first determination part 85 that determines whether or not the tension bar 61 is disposed at the unused position P1; and a prohibiting part 91 that prohibits driving of the drive source 52 when it is determined that the tension bar 61 is disposed at the unused position P1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
