Title:
WINDING METHOD FOR AUTOMATIC WINDER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS62285872
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce occurrence of sloughing, by winding yarn which is tied after it has been cut by sloughing while the yarn is wound at a speed at least lower than an initial normal winding speed.

CONSTITUTION: When sloughing is caused in winding yarn, a slub catcher 6 senses a defective portion of the yarn for causing a cutter 13 to cut the yarn at once. Further, a yarn clearer 10 applies a sloughing sensing signal 21 to a control circuit 19 to permit an inverter 18 to be controlled. The yarn is wound again in a time necessary for tying it after it has been cut by sloughing. The winding speed at the time is set to a value smaller than an initial winding speed. The winding speed after the yarn is tied is not changed even if sloughing is caused again in winding. Therefore, sloughing is not caused repeatedly and yarn is wound effectively.
