Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a winding method for yarn capable of offsetting the winding tension even when the traverse angle is largely changed in a traverse control system.
CONSTITUTION: Yarn is wound in the prescribed traverse angle in combination with the winding at the fixed number of windings and a traverse jump, the prescribed traverse angle WA is changed as the winding diameter is increased in this winding method for the yarn. The winding speed of the yarn is changed to offset the change of the winding tension caused by the change of the traverse angle WA. When the traverse angle WA is increased or decreased, the winding speed of the yarn is preferably decreased or increased. As the traverse angle WA which is the angle between the yarn speed V and the winding speed vw is changed, the magnitude of the winding speed vw can be more preferably changed so that the magnitude of the yarn speed V is not changed.
