Abstract:
To provide a coating device for a winding paper having an indefinite length.
This device includes a coating element 25 provided with a liquid deflector member 28 for deflecting a liquid from the surface 27 of a coating coater roll 24. The liquid deflector member 28 is arranged under a doctor blade member 26 for removing excess coating liquid 1 from the surface 27. The excess coating liquid 1 is separated from the coating surface 27 along a flow passage and descends from the liquid deflector member 28 to prevent the contamination of the coating surface.
