Abstract:
PURPOSE: To secure a windmill that is simple in structure and excellent in durability and further able to be automatically adjusted without requiring any special power by turning a blade shaft according to centrifugal force a blade receives, to an internal thread block via an external thread part, and adjusting a pitch angle of the blade.
CONSTITUTION: A blade 1 is attached tight to a flange at the one end of a blade shaft 2. In addition, an internal thread block 8 is engaged with an external thread part 5 in an intermediate part of the blade shaft 2. Further this internal thread block 8 is held by a boss block 12 with plural pieces of cylinders. On the other hand, a spring 15 is interposed between the internal thread block 8 and each cylinder, while a spring shoe 14 pressingly holding this spring and a thrust bearing 16 are held by a nut 18 in mesh with a finediametral thread part in the other end of the blade shaft 2. In succession, according to centrifugal force which the blade 1 receives, the blade shaft 2 is rotated to the internal thread block 8 via the external thread part 5, thereby adjusting a pitch angle of the blade 1.
