PURPOSE: To raise the electromagnetic shielding effect of a window blind by a method in which a conductive banded sealing member to close the aperture between a window frame and a blind is provided on the position facing the window frame on the peripheral side of the blind.
CONSTITUTION: Carbon brushes 24 are conductive sealing members having a given length are implanted toward the direction of a window frame 2 in both sides 10a of a blind body 10 by an electric flocking method, etc. The brushes 24 are implanted in a banded form with a given width connectedly to the mesh 14 in such a way as to enable them to contact with the window frame 2. When the blind body 10 is pulled out to cover the frame 2, the body 10 is pulled toward the direction of winding around a wind shaft 6 by the action of a spring 8 and held tensely by means of an elastic material 26. The carbon brushes 24 come into contact with the frame 2 to close the aperture between the frame 2 and the body 10. The incidence of light can thus be regulated and the electromagnetic shielding effect can also be raised.
