PURPOSE: To prevent the driving visual field from being impaired by providing indicator lamps emitting the light at the critical angle or below of the inner face reflection into the thick face of a window glass on the holding side end sections of the window glass, and illuminating the free end side end section of the window glass via the lighting of the indicator lamps.

CONSTITUTION: Indicator lamps 2 emitting the light at the critical angle or below of the inner face reflection into the thick face are provided on the holding side end sections 1a invariably stored in a car door 10 of a window glass 1. The light from the indicator lamps 2 when they are lighted is totally reflected on the inner faces of the surface and the back face of the window glass 1, and it reaches a free end side end section 1b at the opposite side end section without being leaked from the surface and the back face to become the edge light E radiated from the thick face of the free end side end section 1b to the outside. When the indicator lamps 2 are lighted, the luminescence is not detected on the surface and the back face of the window glass 1, and only the thick face portion of the free end side end section 1b is illuminated by the edge light E.
