Abstract:
To provide an improved (reduced in cost, reduced in size, and/or increased in durability and weight bearing capacity) window stay.SOLUTION: The window stay includes: a frame assembly plate (10); a sash assembly plate (11); a short arm (12) connected to the frame assembly plate (10) and the sash assembly plate (11) by pivots at each end; and an elongated arm (13) connected to the frame assembly plate (10) and the sash assembly plate (11) by pivots at each end. The stay includes a first stop (33) and a second stop (102) that act as limits in the fully open position of the window stay.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
