Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce motor current consumption down to a current only for generating a required oil pressure in a closing process of a wing device.
SOLUTION: A wing gate opening and closing device, which comprises a hydraulic cylinder for operating a wing gate, a hydraulic pump in communication with the hydraulic cylinder, a motor for driving the hydraulic pump, a power source for supplying electric power to the motor, and a restriction connected between the hydraulic cylinder and the pump, includes a controller connected between the power source and the motor to control current flowing to the motor. The controller reduces a duty ratio of voltage applied to the motor in a closing process of the wing gate. The controller includes a signal generator with one end connected to the power source, and a switching circuit with one end connected to the signal generator and the other end connected to the motor so as to make or break the current to the motor at high speed. The switching circuit comprises at least one transistor.
