PURPOSE: To prevent the decrease of a wind-proof effect by providing a wiper drive unit in a fairing front and mounting a cover that covers this wiper drive unit on the fairing.

CONSTITUTION: The lower surface 2b of a recess 2a with almost a U-shaped cross section is tilted downward toward the front and is also tilted downward toward the center from the right and left. A cover 2c that covers the said recess 2a is mounted over the said recess 2a. Besides, a unit base 2b is mounted in this recess 2a and a wiper motor 7 and a transmission mechanism 8 that varies the revolution of the output axis of this wiper motor 7 into a reciprocating motion of wipers 4, 5 are mounted on this unit base 2g. Both wipers 4 and 5 are driven on wiper axes 4a and 5a through the transmission mechanism 8 by means of this wiper motor 7 and reciprocate integratedly with the wiper axes 4a and 5a centering the wiper axes 4a and 5a. As a result, a wind-proof effect can be prevented from being decreased.
