Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper device simplifying the processing of a primary lever and minimizing the influence of wind pressure from a front side.
SOLUTION: The wiper device 1 is provide with a wiper arm 3 connected to a rotating shaft on a vehicle body side and bent at an intermediate part 3a in the designated direction, and the primary lever 4 having a generally U-shaped section with both side wall surfaces 4a, 4b facing each other and upper wall surfaces 4c, 4c spanning the both side wall surfaces 4a, 4b except a center part 4d in the longitudinal direction and having a tip part 3b of the wiper arm 3 engaged with the both side wall surfaces 4a, 4b located in the center part 4d. The center part 4d in the longitudinal direction of the primary lever 4 is formed by making one of the sidewall surface 4a to span the upper wall surfaces 4c, 4c. A notch part 5 not to interfere with the intermediate part 3a of the wiper arm 3 is formed between another sidewall surface 4b and the upper wall surface 4c.
