Abstract:
To provide a wiper drive unit that allows a simple and uncomplicated assembly of a drive motor due to a replaceable motor module.SOLUTION: A wiper drive unit 100 for a wiper device of an automobile includes a helical gear transmission mechanism 150 and a drive motor 129. The helical gear transmission mechanism has a drive pin 153 used for mounting a wiper arm or a crank of a wiper device, a helical gear 151 for driving the drive pin, and a transmission mechanism housing 140 having a transmission mechanism cover 160. In the assigned wiper drive, the drive motor is formed as a replaceable motor module 110, which is preferably removably mounted in the transmission housing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
