Abstract:
To provide a wiping device for an intaglio printing machine having function such that a cleaning liquid, which is adhered to an end part of a wiping cylinder and is lifted by rotation of the wiping cylinder, is so made as to follow reciprocation of the wiping cylinder and to be scraped off as appropriate.SOLUTION: A wiping device for intaglio printing machine comprises: a wiping cylinder which is suspended in a wiping tank; a detection unit which is located in the vicinity of the cylinder end, and detects a surface state of the cylinder end; a cleaning liquid scraping-off medium projection device which is oriented to the vicinity of the cylinder end, and projects a cleaning liquid scraping-off medium for scraping off the cleaning liquid; a calculation control unit which calculates a surface cleaning state of the cylinder end on the basis of a detection signal from the detection unit; and a cleaning state adjustment unit which adjusts and holds a cleaning state of the cylinder end by a control signal from the calculation control unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
