Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the ink wiping of a wiping roller by making constant the contact pressure of a wiper pad, at all times, on the biting side and the tail side.
SOLUTION: In the wiping unit for wiping ink transferred to a wiping roller by abutting cleaning units 71a, 71b against the circumferential surface of a wiping roller 56 turning in a liquid tank storing a cleaning liquid, compression coil springs 73a, 73b are interposed between brush holders 67a, 67b and tail holders 76a, 76b for holding the tail side of the wiper pads 70a, 70b of the cleaning units such that the wiper pads 70a, 70b are secured while being stretched constantly to the tail side.
