Abstract:
To provide a wire drawing device which can continuously perform shaving and wire drawing of a wire material composed of a metal material while avoiding thinning and breakage of the wire materials between a shaving part and a wire drawing part when the wire material is shaved and drawn.SOLUTION: A wire drawing device 1 has: a shaving part 30 for removing a surface layer part of a wire material W composed of a metal material; a wire drawing part 50 that is provided on the downstream of the shaving part 30 and draws the wire material W from which the surface layer part has been removed in the shaving part 30; a first power part 80 which is provided on the downstream of the wire drawing part 50, continuously passes the shaving part 30 and the wire drawing part 50 therethrough, and tracts the wire material W; and a second power part 40 which is provided between the shaving part 30 and the wire drawing part 50, is brought into surface contact with the wire material W, and feeds the wire material W from the shaving part 30 toward the wire drawing part 50 while maintaining it in a linear shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
