Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire drawing jig for a metal conductor wire which can suppress foreign matter deposition on an introduction part of a wire drawing die, and a manufacturing method for a metal conductor.SOLUTION: The wire drawing jig has a wire drawing die and a flow straightening member disposed on the same center axis for each other. The wire drawing die 16 has a die body 16-1 and a die hole 16-2 for inserting a metal conductor wire 1. The die hole is configured of an introduction part with an opening diameter decreasing monotonously in an insertion direction of the metal conductor wire, a bearing part having a desirably sized opening diameter, and an outlet part with an opening diameter increasing monotonously. The flow straightening member 21 has a funnel-shaped conical flow straightening part arranged upstream of the drawing die 16 with the opening diameter decreasing monotonously and with the opening diameter of the smaller opening side end of the conical flow straightening part larger than the outer diameter of the metal conductor wire 1. The smaller opening side end of the conical flow straightening part is inserted into the region of the introduction part of the wire drawing dice 16, and is so arranged that a predetermined gap may be formed between the outer surface of the conical flow straightening part and the inner surface of the introduction part.
