A plurality of continuity inspecting jigs 21 equipped with contact elements, which contact terminal metal parts inserted in the connector housing and inspect an arrangement state, is arranged in parallel at the rear part of the assembly work stand 12, and the connector holding implements 13 are arranged in piles on their upper parts. The connector holding implements 13 are enabled to have two positions of a lay down posture, in which the terminal insertion faces turn to upward in parallel with the assembling work stand 12, and a stand-up posture, in which the terminal insertion faces become perpendicular to the assembling work bench 12. Then, in the lay down posture of the connector holding implement 13, the arrangement state of the terminal metal parts can be inspected by making the contact elements contact the contact elements inserted into the connector housing.
