To simplify work of mounting a door wire harness on a door panel.
In a method and device, a terminal connector for a door wire harness is passed through a through-hole in the inside wall of a door panel and fixed to the peripheral wall of a through-hole 22 in the front side wall. The wire harness is arranged on a door trim and an open/closed plate 60 is provided for a cover 42, e.g. for the connector in a freely open/closed manner and temporarily held on the door trim. After the door trim is mounted, the open/closed plate 60 in the closed condition is gripped to tense the connector mainbody 40 and the cover 42 to the through-hole 22 side, and then the open/ closed plate 60 is expanded and fixed to a locking hole 26 around the through- hole 22.
