Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a wire heating method that 15 superior in bending workability with a steel sheet heated.

CONSTITUTION: The ratio of the yield strength of a steel at a certain temp. to that of a steel at a room temp. is controlled within a prescribed range; in addition, as a wire heating method, the highest attainable temp. is set from 600 to 1,100°C; and then, water cooling is commenced immediately after or at 400°C or above and stopped within the range of 200°C or below to the room temp.
