To provide a wire lock and wire with locking part capable of solving problems in a conventional wire lock used for a bicycle or the like, wherein a cap mounted thereon is loosened by the dispersion of inside diameter dimension in molding or the secular deterioration of elasticity of a material, and often shifted or dropped out from a part by which it is originally held, and the impairment of the appearance, the corrosion of a wire, a trouble in locking operation and the like are caused.
In this wire lock and wire with locking part, a hollow cylindrical cap 4 is provided in a recessed part 12 that is the connection part of the wire 1 to a locking member 3 so as to cover it, and a protruding part 41 matched to the recessed part 12 is provided on the inside surface of the cap 4. The axial slippage of the cap 4 is prevented by fitting the recessed part 12 to the protruding part 41.
