Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a wire-object length measuring machine which can measure the length of a wire object with high accuracy and in a small space.
CONSTITUTION: An electric wire 8 is moved on a stand 7. An ink jet nozzle 1 jets an ink according to the output signal of a third photoelectric switch, and it puts marks on the electric wire 8. A first photoelectric switch to a fourth photoelectric switch are attached respectively as shown in the figure. Then, the first to fourth photoelectric switches respectively detect the marks put on the electric wire B, and they output detection signals. A control device 10 computes the interval between the marks on the basis of the detection signals.
