Abstract:
PURPOSE: To shorten an operational time taken for changing the direction of a wire rod by supporting a nozzle part movably to a body part of a wire rod supply means and moving the nozzle part to a position in which it does not interfere with the wire rod held in an inserting means in the rotation of the inserting means.
CONSTITUTION: A sending part 4 is constituted which pitch sends forward a predetermined length of a wire rod 1 with a feed chuck 2 and fixed chuck 3. The feed chuck 2 and fixed chuck 3 are supported on a body part 15a of a wire rod supply means 15. The body part 15a is provided with a nozzle part 5 constituted to perform the arcuate motion around a pivot 6 in the direction C. The nozzle part 5 together with the wire rod 1 is elastically deformed around the pivot 6 in the direction C to a position spaced from the maximum movable rotary radius R of an inserting means 9 for inserting the wire rod 1 cut to a predetermined length into a material to be inserted. Thus, a operational time taken for converting the direction of the wire rod 1 can be shortened to continuously supply the wire rod 1 with high speed.
