Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a wire rope, capable of sufficiently satisfying various properties such as nonrotating properties, fatigue and shape collapse resistances and winding properties on a drum, sufficiently adaptable to multilayer winding cargo working and construction machines at a high lift and excellent in practicality.
CONSTITUTION: This wire rope has a fibrous core 4 and a core strand 3 laid around the fibrous core and plural side strands 9 laid in the same twisting direction as that of the core strand and is formed by stranding the plural side strands in the twisting direction opposite to those of the core strand and side strands. The pitch multiple of the rope is larger than that of the side strands.
