Abstract:
To provide a wireless basic charging system connected to a power supply, a system controller that performs electronic communications with a transmission antenna, and a wireless charging method and system.SOLUTION: A wireless charging system 100 determines positions of device receivers 132A to C positioned in a physical space and provides wireless energy transmission. The wireless energy transmission includes guiding a directional electromagnetic energy beam 190 from at least one of transmission antennas 182A and B to the position of each device receiver, which is separated from the transmission antenna by a distance of 50 cm or more. Each device receiver receives the directional electromagnetic energy beam, converts it into electric energy, stores the electric energy in an intermediate power storage device, and guides the electric energy from the intermediate power storage device to a connected electronic device electrically connected to the device receiver to charge and/or supply power to the connected electronic device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
