Abstract:

To provide a wireless communication apparatus for accurately and efficiently performing resource management of a signal processing device.

The apparatus includes a wireless transmitting/receiving device 2 for transmitting and receiving a wireless signal, and a resource capable of redefining a signal processing function in accordance with a software module. The apparatus is comprised of: a signal processing device 3 for performing signal processing required when transmitting and receiving; a plurality of software modules corresponding to the signal processing function which the signal processing device 3 can perform corresponding to the plurality of wireless communication systems; a storage device 5 for storing a plurality of first data files having a file format corresponding to a specific application software prepared for each wireless communication system, and a second data file having a common file format; a first conversion means 711 for converting the first data file into the second data file, and making the storage device 5 newly store it; a second conversion means 712 for converting the second data file into the first data file; and a controller 4 for reading out a software module corresponding to one wireless communication system from the storage device 5, and giving it to the signal processing device 3.
