Abstract:

To provide a receiver configuration for achieving high-speed carrier sensing and reception hopping synchronization and also achieving space division multiplexing based on MIMO while canceling a DC offset jump, that occurs in a baseband during hopping, in a wireless communication apparatus of a reception direct conversion system characterized in that packet exchange is performed while performing frequency hopping by symbol and demodulation is started from carrier sensing of packet head.

Reception systems LOs 13, 14, 15 perform demodulation without hopping to surely carry out fast carrier sensing and hopping synchronization in packet head and to cancel a DC offset jump but during payload, LO is hopped to shift to MIMO. Further, a complex band pass filter 23 or the like is used together while fixing all the LOs in the center LO frequency, perfect cancellation of the DC offset jump over the full length of packet and MIMO can be achieved at the same time.
