Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication device that has improved confidentiality in communication.SOLUTION: A wireless communication device includes: a control unit for obtaining current antenna power and a current communication rate with a wireless LAN slave station; a communication rate determination unit for determining whether the current communication rate obtained by the control unit is at and above a communication rate threshold; a transmission output decision unit for calculating antenna power after output change from the current antenna power obtained by the control unit; a radio transmission output control unit for changing transmission output to the antenna power after output change calculated by the transmission output decision unit; and a radio transmission unit for transmitting a radio signal at the antenna power after output change changed by the radio transmission output control unit. If the communication rate determination unit has determined that the current communication rate is at and above the communication rate threshold, the radio transmission output control unit reduces transmission output to the antenna power after output change calculated by the transmission output decision unit, and then the radio transmission unit transmits a radio signal. Thus, the wireless communication device is configured to control a communication area to the range only covering the wireless LAN slave station.
