To calculate the moving speed of an owner of a wireless terminal by using information of a wireless terminal that a wireless base station of a wireless communication system grasps, and estimate the behavior of the owner on the basis of the moving speed thus obtained.
A wireless communication system includes a behavior estimation device connected with a plurality of wireless base stations over a network, and holding travel information for moving means between adjacent communication areas of each communication area. The wireless base station includes means for transmitting base station information of a wireless terminal connected and information of handover time to the behavior estimation device over a network. The behavior estimation device includes means for calculating the transit time of a communication area to pass depending on the base station information of a wireless terminal to be received and the handover time, and estimating the moving speed of the communication area and corresponding moving means from the transit time of the communication area and the travel for the moving means of the communication area.
