PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication system that can perform carrier regeneration, synchronization and correlation detection in a short time, and communicate at a signal level lower than noise.SOLUTION: When information data 31 is spread by a code spread circuit 32 and modulated by a phase modulation circuit 35 and a pilot signal 33 is spread by a code spread circuit 34 and modulated by the phase modulation circuit 35 to be multiplexed, the code spread circuit 34 is made short in spread code length and slower in transmission rate than the code spread circuit 32, and after band limitation by an LPF 64 and an LPF 65 having narrow bands on a reception side, a carrier is regenerated by a carrier regenerating circuit 66.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
